Colombia: Entry guidance for Colombian nationals traveling to Mexico

To avoid entry denial, the Colombian government provided entry guidance for Colombian nationals traveling to Mexico.

These include:

  • Completing a preregistration form in advance of travelling
  • Providing proof of accommodation for their entire stay in Mexico
  • Providing proof of economic solvency
  • Purchasing international travel insurance

This also applies to other nationals who need an entry visa and Electronic Travel Authorization (ETA).

Austria: Short-Term Local Hires included in work permit

A Work Permit is now available to certain foreign nationals hired locally for up to six months. To be eligible, individuals must enter to work on a specific project for a limited duration, have specialized knowledge and have either a high level of education or similar qualifications.

South Africa: Increased passport fees

From November 1, the South African government has decided to increase passport fees. Application fees for adult passports, children’s passports, documents for travel purposes and crew member certificates will increase. Further details can be found here.
