Brazil and Japan: Reciprocal visa exemption

The governments of Brazil and Japan have agreed to a reciprocal visa system. This system will enable Brazilian and Japanese citizens holding regular passports to apply for visitor visas for a period of up to 90 days. The agreement will come to the effect on September 30, 2023, for an initial period of three years.

Czech Republic: Digital Nomad Visa

The Czech government has approved the digital nomad program, under which highly qualified and top IT professionals can obtain visas which allow them to stay in the Czech Republic. The program is intended for citizens of the following countries: Australia, Japan, Canada, the Republic of Korea, New Zealand, the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland, the United States of America and Taiwan.

The program offers two visa pathways for foreign workers: as an employee of a foreign company or as a self-employed freelancer.
