Crown’s Tricia Cochran, Director of Client Services North America, will kick off a series of presentations at this year’s Canadian Employee Relocation Council’s (CERC) conference. The conference, which is themed The Power of Partnerships, will take place in Calgary, AB on September 10-12, 2017. It will address challenges in mobility and showcase how effective partnerships can support the successful deployment of talent. Additionally, the conference will offer in-depth case studies and interactive workshops delivering strategies and solutions needed to manage the complexities of mobility assignments.
Tricia’s talk will introduce the Relocation 101 program, which is designed to provide a high-level overview of the relocation industry, its players and unique challenges. The three-hour program is designed with those new to relocation in mind. Instructors walk the participants through not only who plays a part in the relocation process, but also some real-life examples of what costs are associated with relocation and the design components of a policy.
Tricia has been one of the instructors of the Relocation 101 program since 2010. Having worked in relocation for more than 20 years, she very much enjoys meeting and mentoring newcomers to the industry and creating meaningful connections.
In addition to Relocation 101, CERC offers a three-part certification program through a distance-learning program by Centennial College. Tricia is an instructor of all three levels of the certification program through the college and currently serves as the 2017 Chair of the CERC Board of Directors.
Crown is a proud Silver Sponsor of this year’s CERC conference and will also be in the exhibition hall at booth #49. Stop by and speak to a Crown representative – they’ll listen to you and help customize a flexible solution to manage employees on assignment abroad.
