Last week, Matt Crockett, Director of Finance and Technology for Crown World Mobility was invited by Kyriba,
a treasury management firm, to speak at the IACCT & ATC Treasury Forum on “Taking Treasury into the Cloud”. The forum, hosted by Asia Treasury Community, is a free membership community that engages with all market participants in the corporate treasury and finance space in the Asia Pacific region.
Matt’s presentation focused on how Crown’s global business services partnered with Kyriba to implement treasury technology. As a business with multiple, large scale global clients, Matt showed how Crown leveraged this technology in order to increase overall business productivity by approximately 20%. The consolidation of financial information, including bank reconciliations, statements and payments into an automated and centralized cloud has been one of the key benefits of Crown’s partnership with Kyriba. Matt’s presentation received a very warm response from the 200 audience members in attendance.
“I had a blast. It took me over an hour to get out of the place, I had so many people approach me for further discussion” Matt said. “I got some really nice feedback and fielded about eight questions. It was nice to be able to present the results of my team’s hard work and see the crowd’s reaction as positive and interested.”
